I am incredibly proud to be a part of GEMS Winchester School, an esteemed school that places students at the heart of everything it does. Being part of a community, that values excellence, innovation and continuous improvement inspires me to contribute meaningfully to the success of our students, colleagues, and wider school community.
With over 15 years of experience in education, including more than a decade in various leadership roles, I am a passionate and dedicated teacher leader committed to helping students grow, succeed and reach their full potential. I began my teaching career as a Year 1 Teacher at WSD in 2011 and have extensive experience teaching across the primary phase, from Foundation Stage.
Throughout my career, I have focused on developing high-quality teaching and learning, supporting teacher growth and creating inclusive environments where all learners can thrive. I hold the National Professional Qualification in Leading Teacher Development (NPQLTD) and the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL). I help to improve student progress, engagement and attainment while empowering teachers to refine their practice and maximise impact in the classroom.
I am proud to continue my leadership journey currently as the Acting Assistant Head Teacher for Primary. I am enthusiastic about fostering a lifelong love of reading in young learners and am committed to ensuring every child develops the confidence and skills needed to become an enthusiastic reader.
