Preeti Sharma

I am Preeti Sharma, originally from India, and currently serving as the Acting Assistant Head Teacher Pastoral in Secondary. I am a Chemistry specialist with a strong background in both teaching and pastoral care.

Dubai has been my home since 2007, and I began my teaching career in the UAE at Non-Gems School. In 2014, I joined WSD as a teacher and have since continued to grow as an educator, supporting students both academically and pastorally.

Over the years, I have taken on a variety of leadership roles including Head of Year, Career Counsellor, Phase Leader KS5, and Sr. Director of Pastoral, before stepping into my current role as Acting Assistant Head Teacher Pastoral in Secondary. In 2019, I successfully completed the National Professional Qualification for Leading Behaviour and Culture (NPQLBC), further strengthening my commitment to impactful, inclusive, and student-centred school leadership. Looking forward to work with wider Winchester community for supporting students’ wellbeing, personal development, and behaviour to ensure they feel safe, valued, and able to thrive at school.
